Graeme & Rachael | wedding
February 2, 2012
This is an overdue blog post.
So, meet Graeme and Rachael, who are both mixed in parentage (Graeme’s Sabahan+Scottish and Rachael’s Sarawakian+English) and currently resides in Australia. I’ll say this over and over again, I love the fact that how two individuals from two different culture, yet similar in many ways, could just come together all in the name of love.
I’m not much of a talker, so I’ll let the photos do the talking.
Here were my personal favourite shots.

Wedding souvenirs during their Aussie wedding the previous year.

Rining & Kwan | wedding
February 1, 2012
One of the best thing about being a photographer is getting the chance to make new friends, in the form of the bride and groom. But this time, it is one of childhood friend who got married and I was more than honored to be entrusted to capture their beautiful day.
Rining, born of Lun Bawang and Chinese parentage, met Kwan, a Thai, in the city of Perth. Well, one thing led to another and as they say, the rest was history. Don’t you just love it that Love can happen to anyone, anywhere any time?
This shoot was assisted by Djohan Rozario of Djohan Rozario Photography.
To Rining and Kwan, congratulations!

Charles, Li Ya and Baby Amelia | family portrait
January 30, 2012
Family portraits have always been something that I look forward to do. Photographing a family can be challenging, especially if it involves babies!
I was recently engaged to photograph this very lovely new family. Charles, Li Ya and baby Amelia reside in Australia and wanted to have their ‘mini’ family shoot taken when they were back in Malaysia.
To Charles, Li Ya, and baby Amelia, may you prosper as a family and all the best wishes from us at Nick Lim Photography.
